You Carried Me

February 24, 2014 By Juanita Ryan 1 Comment

You swaddled me
in white robed arms,
rescued me
from my dark terror.
I carried pain,
but you carried me
away
and up,
up into the light,
until I burst
into a thousand
splintered rays
of joy.

——

I have made you and I will carry you;
I will sustain you and I will rescue you.
Isaiah 46:4

    Dear Juanita

Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful and encouraging poems on this blog. I look forward to every new one.
I have also been receiving your NACR mediations over a period of about four or five years. I do not read them every day, but every time I read one, it is just the right words for that day. Even if I know them almost by heart now, they still touch my heart.
Your writings are anointed by God.
    Thank you my sister.
    Erica
